I would highly recommend this trainer to anyone I know who is looking for a very portable and hassle free way to be able to train wherever you are. At the track, in the velodrome before a cross race the options are truly limitless. It has been a great tool to help coordinate my balance and work on proper posture as well on the bike.

I had the product for a year before I added the resistance. I'm glad I did. still smooth but now more realistic in speed/heart rate.

I use these rollers in my basement mostly during the winter. These are great for doing a little recovery and just spinning the legs. Keeps me more mentally engaged than the trainer. Aluminum drums roll smoothly and quietly and the frame is plenty sturdy. I love that I can fold them in half and store them vertically or flat.

Very good when used with the resistance unit. A very smooth and silent ride comparable to much more expensive hometrainer. Add to this improved balance and core stability when riding rollers.

Rollers are convenient, no rear wheel removal or swapping out skewers. Not as smooth as I would have hoped, but wheels have something to do with that. Bought last year, no design issues. Stores nicely when folded.

This unit was poorly designed. Not recommended. The rubber band broke after limited use. It rubs on the unit, poor design. Poor joint, doesn't open properly.

I honestly thought this would be more expensive.

I cant handle riding in the cold. I cannot get my stationary bike to fit like my road bike and just sitting on that thing while its locked in position is boring and feels nothing like riding on the road. The rollers perform fine, they fold in the middle so you can store them, and there is a band that links the middle roller to the front roller that you have to pop in place before you fully extend it, and make sure its all flat which takes all of 15 seconds and you are ready to ride. I recommend setting the thing up in a doorway, where you can easily grab the walls while sitting up on the bike. When you ride, don't focus on the rollers, look up like you would look up the road and relax your elbows and shoulders. I have rode one hour pretty comfortably but have not ventured out of the doorway yet. I am pretty happy with this item,

I purchased these rollers back in late 2007 as a dare from one of my training partners. And let me tell you, I live by these rollers. I not only use them in the winter, I use them all year round with my fixed gear bike. Talk about a workout... and with the adjustable resistance, it makes aerobic development, tempo development and muscular endurance workouts all worth it. Let me prove it to you... [@] So if you are on the fence on whether or not to purchase at set of these rollers..You would be wrong if you chose not to... Keep or toss!

My husband and I purchased CycleOps Aluminum Rollers with Resistance two years ago and have improved our cycling by using them through long Idaho winters. After the scary first 20 minutes figuring them out, they have helped us improve pedal stroke and handling skills. They are anything but boring as it's a mentally active workout maintaining position on the rollers, but not so consuming an effort that we can't use the remote control to watch the news, sports, or a movie. The handling skills I learned on the rollers saved me from crashing in slippery conditions during the summer. The resistance feature is great. It allows for variation in difficulty, almost like riding up hills.
